National incentive programs
Fast charging infrastructure
The Electric Vehicle and Alternative Fuel Infrastructure Deployment Initiative offers repayable contributions to support the installation of charging stations. The Program will pay up to 50% of the total project costs to a maximum of $50,000 per charging unit up $5 million per project.
Provincial incentive programs
Plug In BC’s Workplace Charging Incentive provides companies and building owners or managers with funding to support the installation of workplace charging infrastructure. The program covers 50% of total project costs, up to $4,000 per Level 2 station.
Multi-unit residential buildings charging
Plug In BC’s Residential Building Incentive provides funding for the purchase and installation of one or multiple Level 2 charging stations in multi-unit residential buildings with 3 units or more. The program covers 75% of total project costs up to $4,000 per station.
The Branché au travail program offers a 50% rebate for the purchase and installation of charging stations at workplaces, up to $5,000 per charging station.
