Introducing an electric-vehicle-friendly shopping destination in the Niagara Region

FLO is excited to announce the availability of four new charging stations in the Niagara Region. Now electric vehicle (EV) drivers can pull up and charge at the Niagara Region’s largest indoor shopping mall, The Pen Centre in St. Catharines.

This project is the result of a collaboration between FLO, its partner Westburne, the Pen Centre and CAA Niagara, who is furthering its commitment to support electric mobility by developing charging infrastructure.

Charging stations are accessible to any EV driver who is a member of the FLO network.

The Pen Centre’s new charging station not only expands the FLO network’s footprint in the Golden Horseshoe, it also creates one more EV-friendly destination for drivers in the Niagara Region.

FLO is committed to fulfilling EV drivers’ charging needs wherever they are — at home, at work, or on the go. Installing charging stations in public locations such as shopping centres is a key component of FLO’s plan to expand its network to everywhere EV drivers live, work, play and shop.

FLO currently operates two other charging sites in the Niagara Region. EV drivers on the FLO network can charge at Niagara Falls’ Municipal Parking Lot #18 (4899 Kitchener St). The other charging site, which includes a fast charger, is at the Fitch Street Plaza in Welland.

More charging sites are also expected to be announced shortly in the Niagara Region. Stay tuned!
